All communication devices must be in the silent or off position during class. Communication by way of "text messaging," "video messaging," or "smart watch" during class is strictly prohibited and may be construed as cheating. At no time should a student have a cell phone on their person during a clinical or laboratory experience. The taking of pictures or videos is considered a violation of HIPPA and student privacy.
