This plan of study was developed as a guideline for students who plan to transfer to Auburn University and pursue a degree in Horticulture. Students who plan to transfer to an out-of-state or private institution should consult that institution and plan their program of study in consultation with horticulture faculty advisors and/or counselors. Some courses in this program may not be available at all College locations. Upon completion of courses listed below, the transcript will reflect either an AA or AS degree without reference to the specific program of study.
NOTES
* Must complete a 6-semester-hour sequence in Literature or History.
* For Speech, Humanities, and Area V Electives: Individual tracks require a specific course or courses in the indicated areas. Check the STARS Guide and Auburn University’s Area V page for additional guidance. Transfer credits may not exceed 50% of those required for the 4- year degree.
* ORI 101 or 105: Required for the associate degree; not specified in AU requirements.
