Refund for Alabama National Guard and Reservists Called to Active Duty:
Students who are active members of the Alabama National Guard, reservists, or active-duty military personnel who are called to active duty during a time of national crisis may receive a full institutional tuition refund upon withdrawal.
For any student receiving Title IV federal financial aid, the institution is required to perform a Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4) calculation in accordance with federal regulations. The amount of Title IV aid earned is based on the date the withdrawal is submitted for official withdrawals and the last date of attendance for unofficial withdrawals. This calculation may result in a balance owed by the student or a return of funds to the U.S. Department of Education, regardless of the institutional refund provided.
