ORI 101: Orientation to College

This course aids new students in their transition to the institution; exposes new students to the broad educational opportunities of the institution; and integrates new students into the life of the institution. 

ORI 104: Workkeys® Assessment and Advisement

This course provides students with an introduction to the ACT WorkKeys System. Students will complete WorkKeys assessments in the areas of Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy. Upon completion, students will be advised of their performance on the assessments and of the methods available to improve their individual performance levels.

ORI 105: Orientation and Student Success

This course is designed to orient students to the college experience by providing them with the tools needed for academic and personal success.  Topics include: developing an internal focus of control, time management and organizational skills, critical and creative thinking strategies, personal and professional maturity, and effective study skills for college and beyond.
